another quicky

i just watched the VP debates. unlike the last ones, i think the debate will make no difference in the general election. cheney came across as a wonky dad, which is actually a pretty positive image for him, and will probably play fairly well with people who do not already dispise him like i do. it will be interesting to see the post-debate spin on this one because it's most notable characteristic is how dull the debate seemed after the first hour or so.
