anyone remember when howard dean said: "the capture of Saddam has not made America safer"
well, one year later and americans in iraq, at least, are demonstrably in more danger than before. i was never really a deaniac, but it is remarkable how much he was panned by both democrats and republicans for making fairly obvious statements like this one.
