so kerik's out as homeland security chief because of "questions related to the immigration status of a former household employee." it's really kind of strange how having an undocumented housekeeper somewhere in your past has become the one silver bullet that can sink any presidential nomination. apparently that's more serious than writing memos endorsing the use of torture or calling the geneva conventions "quaint".
