every once in a while i get a small encouraging sign that the world may not have gone completely mad after all. cnn has actually bumped schiavo as the top story in favor of the earthquake off the coast of sumatra which could possibly cause another disasterous tsunami.
of course, the banner across the top of the page still says: "BREAKING NEWS: Jurors in Michael Jackson trial can hear testimony about past sexual abuse allegations, judge rules. Details soon."
