i'm off to another film tonight (i still got more punches on my festival pass to use up). then tomorrow i will be at a conference in central new jersey. then after that, there's more film festing. to keep you busy in the meantime:
-read about spying on area 51 with the new google satellite feature (via abu aardvark)
-actually, that google satellite site is pretty entertaining all on it's own (the satillite link is to the upper right). i've zoomed in on my house already, where i used to live in chicago and several of my friends' homes. unfortunately, you can only really zoom to a really close view to places in the u.s. but i did get a nice arial view of the aral sea (or what's left of it) the other night.
-a bunch of fellow liberal coalition members (and a couple of other people), have started a new site the practical press, a place for creative writing. you can join them in creativity or just read what other people wrote so far.
-answer the liberal avenger's serious question
-read an interesting account of what it was like to be a journalist in baghdad on election day last january. and how the overall message of the day is what the world got regardless of what was actually happening there.
i'll probably be posting again by late tomorrow.
