recently local politicians have been showing up to shmooze. tonight apparently seth williams will be there. williams will challenge district attorney lynn abraham in the upcoming democratic primary. abraham is the DA with the dubious honor of seeking the death penalty more often and more successfully than anyone else.
i realize that, while most people show up at DL for a chance to meet the noz in person, a few of you might need a few extra inducements. maybe williams' appearance will be enough to push you over the top.
