i've been mostly writing about the miers nomination for its entertainment value. it's just good old fashioned fun to watch elements of the right turn on bush like this. plus, she's a pretty easy nominee to make fun of, what with her lack of qualifications and all.
but now i'm wondering how much of the hubbub is just talk and how much of a real danger it poses to the nomination. the bush administration clearly seems worried that the nomination might fail. but they're also not accustomed to revolts on the right. maybe that's all their flailing about means.
so what do you think. is the miers nomination in real jeopardy? or is this just something that everyone likes to talk about? i can't decide which it is.
