i didn't mean to leave you hanging quite this long (i was stuck in court all day yesterday), but here's the deal with the quiz post: the odd numbered links are all the headlines of american news sources, the even numbers are foreign news services. it seemed to me that the american headlines consistently played down the violence, whereas the foreign ones did not. (i particularly like the contrast between #1 and 2, which directly contradict each other)
anyway, that's what i was looking for. no one got it. maybe next time.
