the most recent wave of sectarian violence in iraq has increased the chatter about the possibility that civil war might break out in iraq. it seems to me that what's going there already qualifies as a "civil war."
when people talk about the possibility of a future outbreak, i'm not exactly sure what it is they are waiting for. it's not like the scoreboard is going to flash a giant "civil war" logo to make it official.
i think there is no "danger" of civil war in iraq. there already is a civil war (which itself is dangerous)
