others have pointed this out, but when i read bin laden's latest, he doesn't really come across as much more than a wanna-be leader.
i mean, calling for death of the danish cartoonists? that's sooooo three months ago. get with the times man! and when he tried to be with it, giving a shout-out to hamas, hamas said "get lost, loser." oooo snap!
back in the day, al qaeda looked to be positioning itself as the leader of a global jihadist movement. but now bin laden's m.o. is more like a guy who looks around for places with juicy jihadist potential, and then runs to the front of the line and pretends to be leading them to where they were going anyway.
