flimsy

the only reason to relax the rules of evidence for trials of guantanamo detainees is because they simply don't have enough evidence to convict them under the normal rules. the fact that the administration doesn't think it has a good enough case to convict these guys after four years of doing pretty much anything they wanted to them, really speaks volumes about the effectiveness of the bush administration's detention policies.
