with the clock ticking away before the november elections, this new session of congress is sure to be chock full of bad ideas designed solely to complement the republican leadership's re-election campaign. the period between labor and election day in an election year is always congress at its worst. and considering how bad that body usually is, that's saying a lot. though, it looks like immigration reform is off the table.
i'll probably end up calling my senators and representative most days over the next few weeks protesting one stupid proposal after another.
