i'm a bad jew: i don't believe in god; i don't follow the dietary rules; i don't celebrate any of the holidays; i effectively celebrate christmas (i.e. i have christmas dinner with the inlaws and accept presents); and i've been ordained as a minister in a different religion. as i mentioned several months ago, that last thing i did so that i could conduct a marriage ceremony for a pair of friends. their wedding coming up fast--only eight days away now. but it took until this week for me to noticed that i'll be conducting the ceremony on rosh hashana, and i only noticed the holiday this far in advance because my non-jewish wife told me. and thus my bad jewness reaches even loftier heights.
in other wedding-related news: mrs. noz and i are off to ithaca, new york this weekend for a totally different wedding; the wedding of this old friend. several other old friends will be there too, like her and her, and her. and maybe some more people who don't even have a blog. the hotel room has wifi, so i will probably keep blogging from there. but only if i feel like it. in other words, the usual.
