the saudi tv ratings are out and it looks like al hurra beat animal planet during the recently israel-lebanon war.
that's right, during the conflict more saudis turned to the u.s,-funded arab language news channel than the english-language nature channel. while al hurra ranked "well behind" al arabiya and al jazeera, it's at least comforting to know that during a regional crisis the saudis would rather rely on the u.s. taxpayer funded version of the news broadcast in their own language than watch a bunch of antelopes with narration in a foreign language.
