i'm a member/subscriber to a total of three local film organizations (that's not including a couple of other local film-related email lists). all three offered a showing of borat. i couldn't make the philadelphia film society showing a couple of months back (who schedules a screening in the middle of a work day?) i was out of town yesterday when it showed at talk cinema.
but it looks like i will actually make it to the free sneak preview for bryn mawr film institute members tomorrow night.
there's only 24 hours left for something to come up that would stop me from seeing the BMFI preview--probably my last chance to see a sneak preview of the film. if i miss this one, i guess i'll just have to [shudder] pay for a ticket and see it like regular people during the normal commercial release
but that can't happen. i'm almost there. all i gotta do is lay low and not get run over before tomorrow evening.
