i've gotten to the point where i don't think any reasonable person can deny that iraq is in a civil war right now. for a while it was open to debate. but when you have different sects with their own militias fighting one another for control over the country, refusing to use the term looks increasingly like spin rather than analysis.
well, with that settled now we can sit back and see how many of those people who argued that u.s. stay in iraq to prevent a civil war will acknowledge that it didn't work and that the troops should come home.
