the u.s. takes another step towards being a rogue nation

wonderful.

violating a diplomatic compound is a major deal in international law. and by doing it, the u.s. has now endangered our own diplomats around the world.

of course, iran itself broke this rule when it permitted students to storm the american embassy in 1979. but two wrongs don't make a right. and it really isn't saying much of a defense to say "yeah, but we're no worse than iran!" talk about setting a low bar.
