i'm glad to see contact with iran (ruled out before) has now apparently been ruled back in.
as i've said again and again, there's no reason not to talk to anyone. i've never understood the bush administration's attitude that talking equals giving in. talking doesn't always work, but refusing to talk at all almost always leads to failure. i'm glad that they seem to be finally coming around.
of course, now that this has hit the papers i wonder if cheney will try to kill it.
