...maybe it isn't waaaaaaaay early after all.
with states trying to one-up each other, at this rate the primaries will happen next fall. and why stop there? we can all look forward to the day that presidential primaries occur before the prior general presidential election. so, for example, the primary for candidates in the november 2016 election would happen sometime in mid-2012, at the same time that the general election campaign for november 2012 is going on.
