the investigation into the unexploded car bombs in london might be taking a new turn. first, it was assumed to be al qaeda, but then the reports stated describing the bombs as "amateurish". This Old Brit over in the liberal avenger's comments wonders whether it won't turn out to be the work of some "Brit nutters - gay hating nutters" as the bombs were planted around the area of this weekend's gay march/carnival.
but that's not what i wanted to talk about. no, reading old brit's comments just got me thinking about the britishism "nutter". i wonder what the brits will think when they find out that the next mayor of philadelphia will be named mayor nutter. will it make philly seem cooler and eccentric to british ears? or just make philadelphians look like idiots?
