whoever gets the democratic nomination should tap michael moore to be his/her running mate. i'm not saying this because i think moore would be a good vice president, or because i want him to have a stepping stone to the presidency. in fact, i don't think moore would be a very good politician at all.
but one virtue that moore does have is that he makes conservatives go absolutely bonkers. they think he's evil incarnate. he's the best i could come up with as a left-wing cheney equivalent. and that means he'd make a perfect impeachment prophylactic.
