the bush administration's dog and pony show of pro-war events over the past few weeks--bush's surprise visit to anbar, the pre-surge report hype and those two days of televised testimony of the greatest general evahtm--didn't move the public in any perceptible way.
i honestly don't think there's anything bush can do to improve the public's confidence in him or to make this war popular again.
