drinking liberally--too busy edition

i may very well be too busy to post tomorrow, so here's my weekly drinking liberally plug: tangier, 18th and lombard, 6 p.m. until later--though i might get talked into going to one of the candidate's NH primary watching party around 7ish, especially if a ride is involved. yes, i can be bought. at least my primary watching loyalties can be. anyway, if you want some serious noz-time and don't want to sully yourself with a candidate's party, come earlyish.

in any case, lots of stuff is happening in the world, much of it not primary related. for some reason i developed the hope that after the IA caucus and NH primary, people would stop obsessing about the primary race for a while. i never really concluded that in any formal way, it's just the background assumption whenever i got really tired of all the mania and reassured myself: "well, at least iowa/new hampshire will be here soon."

but now that i'm actually thinking about it, i realize that my assumption makes no sense at all. after new hampshire comes a string of primaries leading up to super-duper tuesday. so unless we get some high-profile drop-outs on wednesday, we're probably gonna have to put up with this all-primary-all-the-time shit for at least another month.

oh, the humanity.
