cernig has posted the full unedited 45 minute video of the hormuz "incident".
what strikes me is how far away the iranians are for pretty much the entire time; how there's nothing resembling a "swarm"; and how the only time we can see the boats very well at all is when the camera zooms and then we get to see the iranian sailors waving "hello" to the americans. there's no white boxes in the water, and no threatening voice on the radio. though we can hear snatches of the american sailors' speech over the wind, there's no discussion of shooting or any sign that they are on alert. at one point one sailor says "they're waving at us." there is a brief bit when the camera tries to see something in the water, but it only lasts a few seconds and then the cameraman seems to lose interest.
