it wasn't all that long ago that the possibility of this was viewed as a doomsday-type scenario for iraq and the middle east.
while commentators don't seem to be happy with the incursion, it's funny how i'm not seeing any of the "ignite a regional conflict" predictions that i used to see before it happened.
