i only saw one film today, "mrs. ratcliffe's revolution" (imdb). "ratcliffe" is a comedy about an english radical who moves his family to east germany in the late 1960s where they all find out that the place is far from the communist paradise they've dreamed of. imagine "east-west" if that film were a comedy, except less funny than you're probably imagining.
it wasn't a terrible film, it just wasn't that great either. oh well.
