i don't quite understand how ron paul can pull off a "convention revolt against mccain." political conventions are tightly controlled. the "free speech zones" where protesters are allowed to congregate will be outside and as far as possible from the convention center. while ron paul does have 26 delegates, that's a very small fraction of the overall delegates. it's not enough to create a major ruckus. access of anyone else to the convention will require credentials that will be dolled out by republican party leaders, who are all lining up behind mccain.
so i doubt that the "revolt" will be much more than talking about a revolt to the press before the convention.
