while we're on the subject of flip-flops, the official count puts john mccain reversing his position on 48 different issues, with eight flips just in the past two weeks! if he keeps up that rate, we should see another 79 flips and/or flops before the general election.
actually, he's switching so fast there is a real danger that he run out of issues to completely reverse himself on. i'm not sure what he will do when the unflipped issue well runs dry. will he stop there? or will he start flipping all his positions back? or maybe he'll just pick a select bunch of his favorites and flip them back and forth to his heart's content.
