for the third time, the supreme court has ruled against the bush administration on handling guantanamo detainees.
the ruling (which i haven't read because it isn't available yet [UPDATE: now it is]) seems to give detainees the right to file habeas petitions in federal court. which means that, once again, the latest bullshit kangaroo court system the administration set up for gitmo detainees is probably going to go out the window.
