i'm guessing that what rove wants, rove gets. i'm also guessing that mccain will go with mittens, not that dude from minnesota. the minnesota dude would be a better choice for him, but the institutional pressure for mittens within the republican establishment is too high. so i think mccain will maverick his way to the party establishment's guy, notwithstanding the mittsters inability to buy love from the republican voters last winter.
a confession: my prediction may be influenced by my hope that i'll get to use that picture (shamelessly stolen from drexel dem) again. that joke hadn't even approached its shark leap when romney called it quits last february.
