i work in a firm filled with bad jews. about 1/2 of the lawyers in my office are jewish. i don't think a single one missed work today because of the holiest day of the year. we didn't have lunch together, but i think everyone ate.
nevertheless i think most people assumed i wouldn't be in today. (probably because of my last name). the only phone calls i got all day were people i called first, which meant i got a lot of stuff done. it really pays to be a heathen.
