i just downloaded it, but the
americans for peace now facts on the ground iphone app is really pretty nifty. it combines google's satellite map of the west bank with the data that peace now has collected on settlement activity. the data layers allow you to display or hide various borders (e.g. the
green line, the
west bank barrier) and the oslo accords administrative classifications (e.g.
area A and B).
i'm not sure how much i will use it, but it really seems like a pretty amazing resource. and it's free. so why not?
