as ismail haniyeh does his tour of the middle east. i keep wondering how he got out of gaza. i assume he crossed into egypt at rafah (rather than through the various crossings into israel). but that means that egypt let him pass, which itself is significant. and i wonder if there will be another standoff when he tries to come back, like there was in 2006.
