you have now probably done more damage to the cause of worker's rights in china than any other "theatrical piece" creator! your actions are especially sad because "mr. daisey and the apple factory" really did seem to be getting the ball rolling. between the TAL piece and subsequent coverage by the NYT, foxconn found itself under real pressure to improve things for its workers. now that ball is gonna stop rolling right in its tracks. future critics of working conditions in china will have the extra hurdle of getting past the skepticism whether their complaints are just another bogus story.
and while i agree that theater is not the same thing as journalism, maybe you should have thought of that before you left the theater to give an extended interview with a journalist to be broadcast nationally.
