yet another survey has found that people who get their news from fox news are the worst informed about current events, at least as measured by the ability to answer questions about domestic and international news stories. even worse for fox news is the largest effect found by the study:
The largest effect is that of Fox News: all else being equal, someone who watched only Fox News would be expected to answer just 1.04 domestic questions correctly — a figure which is significantly worse than if they had reported watching no media at all.in other words, fox news viewers would be more informed if they stopped watching fox news. which means, what fox news is telling their viewers cannot really be called "news" if it's leaving them less informed.
