on a related note, we've gotten so used to politicians giving stupid non-answers to serious questions, people don't bother to call them out when their answers are completely idiotic. raising the minimum wage is either a good idea or a bad idea (i think it's the former), but whether the person asking the question has a job has nothing to do with the answer to that question. it was a remarkably stupid thing to say, and so the answer should be given its due. which is why i think that everyone should point and laugh at that moron representing florida's tenth district.
