i was wrong about CO and maybe FL (although my understanding is that it hasn't been called yet). wrong in a good way, mind you. it was less close on EVs than i even imagined. and i didn't think the EV count would be all that close.
on the other hand, while this wasn't a prediction, i was happy to see that neither ryan nor romney won their home states. that's right, they lost all five of them. the question remains whether they both get that scarlet L on their foreheads.
it should be fun watching the right point fingers over this loss. remember, conservatism cannot fail, it can only be failed. i don't think there is any chance the right will try to seriously examine their own ideological shortcomings that may have led to the loss. instead, they will blame their own candidates for not being true enough to the one true cause. never mind the cautionary tales of allen west, todd akin, or richard mourdock.
