While I would like to think that expanding social security is now a "respectable idea," my impression is that it is not getting any traction outside of left blogistan. Maybe I'm wrong. But I would believe the headline more if the article weren't written by someone from within that subculture.
On the other hand, I approve of plugging the expand social security idea. But until the Sunday bobbleheads are babbling about it on Sunday morning, I don't think it has quite taken off yet.
