Government shuts down, Health care law doesn't. Health care law must not have meant a government takeover

I don't know if it will actually work out this way, but one weird side effect of the current government shutdown is that it could put another nail in the coffin on one of the GOP's lies. If the ACA really was a takeover of the health care system by the federal government then ObamaCare would have been shut down this morning too. The fact that the exchanges are opening today notwithstanding the shutdown is another example of how detached from reality the government takeover line really is.

Then again, the average consumer of rightwing media as probably never heard of the exchanges.
