I disagree with Booman's argument that Chris Christie won't have as much appeal with the voters outside the Garden State. He's got enough of the blunt-talking schtick going that he might appeal to people in other parts of the country, in a guy-I'd-like-to-have-a-beer-with kinda way. Christie's problem is not that he can't win the general election for President, it's that he can't get survive the primary with today's loony-tunes dominated GOP. I mean, the nonexistent hug alone would sink any chance he might have ever had.
And for that I am thankful.
