I didn't have a lot of time to post over the past few days, but if you haven't already see this, go read TBogg's "I was the NRA."
I have completely lost any hope that this country will pass any sensible gun control in my lifetime. If the slaughter of 20 six year olds couldn't do it, nothing will. But as the NRA and other "guns rights" groups have evolved more and more into gun fetishist wacko clubs, the members themselves are becoming pretty strong argument for regulating firearms. So I'm 100% on-board with Atrios' mock them strategy. It really may be all we have left.
