Gay marriage is now legal here!!! Hurray! That's a whole lot better than Kazakhstan!
And it looks like Tom Wolf will be our next governor! He wasn't my first choice, or even my second. (I voted for Allyson Schwartz even though it was pretty clear from the polls she would lose). But frankly, he's still a whole lot better than Tom Corbett. I can't wait to vote against him come November. (It still bugs me that I was disenfranchised when he ran for his first term and so I never got my chance to vote against him then).
Nationally, things may be looking dim for team Dem this year. But locally in Pennsylvania, the future seems fairly bright.
