Change I can believe in

As a former Chicagoan, the most shocking thing about these poll numbers is that it looks like there might be a competitive mayoral race in Chicago. Throughout the 90s when I lived there, it was the reign of Daley the Second. Aside from those interim years between Papa Daley and Daley II (which was before my time), my impression was that the city had almost never had a mayoral race where the outcome was uncertain.
