30 years late

I think I was around age 13 when I read "1984." For whatever reason the bit that made the biggest impression on me was the idea that in the novel you don't just watch TV, TV watches you! It was like a Yakov Smirnoff joke, right when Smirnoff was a thing. That thought particularly amused me because it worked on two different levels. How smart I felt, which made the whole thing funny.

Anyway, it looks like we have finally gotten there. Hilarious!
