97.7% doesn't lend any credibility, it makes the whole thing seem like a fraud. I sort of understand why a country like Kazakhstan would want to pretend to be a democracy . But I don't understand why they don't do a better job pretending. And I really don't understand why so many Kazakhstanis bother to vote.
