Are we calling every picture a "selfie" now?

The only thing that bothers me about this picture is that people keep referring to it as a "selfie." IT IS NOT A SELFIE.

See? Neither of the people in the photo (who are Seif Eldein Mustafa, the hijacker, on the left, and Ben Innes, the passenger who posted the image, on the right) are holding the camera. Another passenger, Huub Helthuis, told the NYTimes that he took the photo.

Case closed. This is not a selfie. Every posed picture of a person is not a selfie.
