JMM's point cannot be repeated enough. It simply makes no sense for Trump to demand a Congressional investigation of the executive branch. Trump is the head of the executive branch. He can just ask his own department heads to do their own investigation of any claims that Obama ordered his phones tapped. There are records of what Obama did as president and Trump is the one who currently has those records.
