Actually, Western ValuesTM are only threatened by the overreaction to terrorism and extremism, the very overreaction that Trump himself endlessly pushes. ISIS can blow up as many bombs as they want, but that won't change the right to free speech, the independence of the court system, our system of elections, etc.
If we flip out about terrorism, impose states of emergencies, curtail what the media is allowed to report, or limit the cases that can be tried in the regular court system, that is what undermines western values. Trump is a much bigger threat to those things than any terrorist group.
