I thought the only acceptable state-based units of measurement are New Jersey and Texas. Is this the first time that Delaware gets to be a unit? I would not have thought that DE would work because once you get out of the mid-Atlantic region, many people don't know anything about DE, much less have a sense of its size. (I'm just basing that on my own experience, as a Delaware native who lived in the Midwest in the 1990s, most people I met thought DE was in New England somewhere, I guess because that's where most of the other small states are). NJ and TX, at least, are much more well known.
