It occurs to me that because the Republican Senate majority is at risk in November, Trump needs to replace anyone who requires Senate confirmation asap. Tillerson is gone today. But if others are going to go, they will probably go soon. Even with 51 GOP votes (plus Pence as tie-breaker), confirmation will get tougher as we get closer to the mid-terms. Remember, most of Trump's cabinet nominees were confirmed with some of the narrowest margins in history. He does not have many votes to lose.
